SonoSim’s new aorta and IVC real-patient scanning cases are available in the Aorta/IVC Core Clinical Module. This module will teach users how to perform ultrasonography of the aorta and inferior vena cava (IVC). It provides comprehensive didactic, knowledge assessment, and hands-on training.

Individuals can use color-flow and pulsed-wave Doppler to evaluate and diagnose pathologies such as: aortic aneurysm with mural thrombus, aortic aneurysm with endovascular graft, bi-lobed fusiform aortic aneurysm, hypovolemia, infrarenal aortic aneurysm, and more.
